I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult step and my goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make lasting changes. Whether you're dealing with specific issues or looking for guidance in managing your overall mental health, I'm here to help you navigate the process with compassion and respect.​
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, where we work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My approach is grounded in person-centered theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I tailor my interventions to meet your unique needs and goals.
I am also trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), a treatment intervention that works with parents to help their children overcome problematic anxiety.

Whether you are just starting your college career, about to head out into the workforce, or somewhere in between. college is stressful. Add in anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other mental health concerns and life can be hard to manage. I have been there too and helped countless others during young adulthood. I'm here to help you too.

For Parents of Anxious Children-
Is your child's anxiety running the house? Do you find yourself providing so much support that it takes up significant time in your day? I am here to provide skills for you to help your child conquer their anxiety. I use SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) to help parents learn to change their behaviors . SPACE sessions are structured and usually take 8-10 weeks.

For Those with Parenting/Parenthood Concerns-
Every stage of parenting brings about unique challenges. I offer support for the transition to parenting, the exhaustion that comes with physical and/or mental tasks, as well as help with children's big feelings and behaviors. I hope to help you better understand and manage your feelings around parenting.

Stuck with anxious thoughts? Feeling overwhelmed, burned out or down? I'm experienced in helping adults navigate distress from anxiety and depression, as well as grief, relationship issues, and chronic health conditions. Using CBT, ACT, and a person-centered approach, we can together work toward alleviating your concerns.

I provide weekly and biweekly individual and group supervision services to Residents in Counseling working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
